This painting was created from a wooden replica of the old Clipper Ship, "The Flying Cloud" built by Donald McKay as it struggles through the roughest seas the sun breaks through to restore hope to the weary sailors.

- Art has been my favorite past time even before winning a regional contest in the third grade. From my life size porcelain doll children that I made to replicate my relatives, to window design, floral arrangements, makeup artistry decorative art, faux murals and story illustrations I could never stray far from its inspirational clutch. My strength however, seems to surface in the way I capture the human expression. I would be so happy to make an heirloom of yours!
